Diflubenzuron Wp

Diflubenzuron WP (Wettable Powder) is an example of a commonly used insect growth regulator in Indian agriculture that is used to control pests in cotton, rice, vegetables, and pulses. The quality and safety of this product provide protection to farmers, consumers, crops, and the environment.

Diflubenzuron WP is only certified by BIS under IS 14186 when it complies with the standards of active ingredient, impurity, particle size, dispersion, and safety and is allowed to be legally manufactured and sold in India.

What do you mean by ISI Mark Certification?

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is a central body in India that deals with standardization, certification, and quality assurance. An ISI Mark is an assurance that a product meets Indian Standards and adheres to regulatory and safety requirements.

Diflubenzuron WP that is certified under IS 14186 is subject to stringent quality standards, such as the correct formulation, uniformity of particle size and proper dispersion in water. Manufacturers that follow these standards are awarded the ISI Mark, which guarantees the end-user the safety and reliability of the product.

There are several benefits of obtaining a BIS license that increase the value of a product:

  1. Quality & Safety Assurance Assures consistency in production quality and eliminates inappropriate or unsafe formulations.
  2. Regulatory Compliance : Allows legal production and sale in India. Uncertified goods can be penalized, confiscated, or banned.
  3. Market Credibility : ISI-marked Diflubenzuron WP wins the confidence of farmers, distributors, exporters, and regulators.
  4. Competitive Advantage : In domestic and institutional markets, certified products are preferred over non-certified products.
