Amplifiers with input power of 2000W and above are subject to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) regulations. According to the Compulsory Registration Scheme, all automatic data processing machines, including magnetic or optical readers and machines that transcribe data into coded formats, must be registered. This registration follows the guidelines of the IS 13252 (Part 1:2010) standard, which was introduced through the Gazette of India on July 3, 2013. Requirements for BIS CRS Registration :

You need to be a Manufacturer and not a Seller: It is important to note that the Indian BIS License is granted exclusively to manufacturers and not to importers or sellers. Importers may act as the Authorized Indian Representative (AIR) of foreign manufacturers and can submit the application to BIS. However, the final license is only granted to the manufacturer.

Your Manufacturing Address matters a lot: The proper manufacturing address must be clearly mentioned in the documents. And in case the manufacturer has multiple factory locations for one product then separate BIS Licenses are required for each location.

Each Product Requires Its Own License: Each product needs its own license, but if there are multiple models in the same category, a single license will cover all of them. So, one license is enough for a product with different models. if the model no is above 10 no then apply the Inclusion apllication.

Brand or Trademark: Each brand or trademark requires its own BIS license.
