The Make in India certification program is administered by the  Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion and is based on the international ISO 9000 quality management standards.

• To be eligible for certification, companies must have a manufacturing facility in India and meet specific criteria related to quality management, environmental management, safety, and social responsibility.
• The Make in India certification is a voluntary certification scheme for Indian manufacturers. The accreditation process involves submitting an application, along with supporting documentation, to the Indian Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF).
• The application is then reviewed by a panel of experts, who will decide whether the manufacturer meets the criteria for the certification.
• Once the application is approved, the manufacturer must register with the scheme and pay a fee. They will also be required to display their products' Make in India logo.

The Documents required for the process:

Before you can get the Make in India certification, you need to have the following documentation:

• Incorporation Certificate, Pan Card Copy, ID Proof, Address Proof,
• Detail of Directors, Direct Identification Number (DIN), Digital Signature Certificate,
• Latest Bank Statement/Mobile Bill, Passport size Photographs,
• Purpose for which Make in India logo is used, Patent and trademark details (Optional).
